Raimund Bio

Raimund Dachselt: Raimund is an assistant professor (Juniorprofessor) at the University of Magdeburg, where he heads the User Interface & Software Engineering group. Within his doctoral thesis he developed a component-based architecture and 3D widgets for interactive 3D applications (www.contigra.com). Besides his participation in various desktop VR research projects, his current research focus is the design and development of novel interaction techniques for seamless user interfaces in mixed-display/device environments with a focus on tabletops. Dr. Dachselt is a member of the IEEE Computer Society, ACM SIGCHI and SIGSOFT. He has co-organized several international workshops. For more information, see the homepage of Raimund Dachselt.
